Once connected (see MCP setup), your AI assistant can also help you organize recipients, customize how your gift card emails look, and check what's available in the catalog.
Organize recipients into groups
If you send to the same people repeatedly — a department, a new-hire cohort, a customer segment — create a recipient group instead of re-adding people every time. Add or remove members anytime, and check who's in a group before you send to it.
Example prompts
- “Create a recipient group called 'Customer Success Team.'”
- “Add jane@example.com and mark@example.com to the 'New Hires' group.”
- “Who's currently in the 'Top Performers' group?”
- “Remove sam@example.com from the 'Q2 Recognition' group.”
Customize your gift card email templates
Save a reusable email layout (sender name, logo placement, message, and color palette) so every gift card email matches your brand without re-entering the design each time you send.
Example prompts
- “Create an email template called 'Q3 Recognition' with sender name 'People Team' and the message 'Thanks for everything you do.'”
- “List all of my saved email templates.”
- “Update the 'Q3 Recognition' template's button color to match our brand blue.”
Updating a template resaves all of its fields, so include the sender name and message in your request even if you're only changing a color. Setting a template as your organization's default still requires the portal — your assistant can create and edit templates, but can't mark one as default.
Browse the gift card catalog
Not sure what's available before you send? Search the brand catalog by name or category, then check an item's details for exact pricing before committing to a send.
Example prompts
- “Search the catalog for 'Visa' gift cards for Canada.”
- “Show me the details and price range for the Walmart card.”
- “Search for restaurant gift cards available in India.”
Preview with a test email
Before sending a real batch, ask your assistant to send a test so you can see exactly what a recipient will receive, including the subject line, message, and card design, without it counting as a real send.
Example prompt
- “Send me a preview of this order so I can see what recipients will get.”
FAQs
Do recipient groups work with campaigns?
Yes — you can execute a campaign against a saved group instead of listing recipients individually.
Can I edit a recipient group after creating it?
Yes. Ask your assistant to add or remove members, or rename the group, at any time.
Are email templates the same as campaigns?
No. A campaign saves a reusable order — product, amount, message — that you execute repeatedly against a list of recipients or a saved group. A template only controls how the email looks, and can be attached to any order or campaign.
Does browsing the catalog cost anything or create an order?
No — searching or viewing catalog items is read-only. Nothing is ordered or charged until you explicitly ask your assistant to send.
Does a test email count against my balance or order limit?
No — test emails are for preview only and are not charged.
