Ask your AI assistant about past sends anytime — no need to dig through the portal.
Browse your order history
Every order you've sent lives in your order history: one-time, scheduled, reward links, or campaign. Ask your assistant to pull up recent activity, or narrow it down by date, status, order type, card type, recipient, or order ID.
This is the fastest way to answer questions like "did that go out?" or "how much did we spend last quarter?" without opening the portal.
Example prompts
- Show me all orders I sent in the last 30 days and summarize them in a table.
- Find any orders from this month that have failed and resend them.
Look up one order
Once you've found the order you're interested in, ask for its full details. This shows the status of every recipient on that order: delivered, pending, or failed.
Use this when you need to troubleshoot a specific send, rather than browse broadly.
Example prompt
- Show me the full details for order OT2026060100001.
Cancel a scheduled order
If an order hasn't gone out yet, you can stop it. Cancellation only works for orders that are still scheduled, with at least 10 minutes left before the send time. Once it's within that window, or already sent, it cannot be cancelled.
The held balance is refunded immediately. Since this is a destructive action, your assistant always asks you to confirm before cancelling.
Example prompt
- Cancel order [ID].
Resend an order
If a recipient's email bounced, went to spam, or they lost it, you can resend without creating a new order. Orders can be sent any time before they expire. You can also redirect it to a corrected email address.
Orders that were cancelled, or never went out, can't be resent this way.
Example prompt
- Resend order [ID] to jane@example.com — her email bounced.
Important: Resending an order does not restart the expiration window.
Reuse a past order
Sending something similar to a past order? Ask your assistant to reuse it as a starting point for a new one, instead of re-entering every recipient and amount. It clones the recipients and amount into a fresh draft. You can adjust the send date, sender name, or message, but not the product or amount.
Example prompt
- Send that same order from last month again.
Tip: MCP tool activity is logged alongside your Giftronaut API activity in the request log dashboard.
FAQs
Can I edit an order that's already sent?
No — but you can resend it or reuse it as a new draft.
What's the difference between resending and reusing an order?
Resending re-delivers the same order to the same, or corrected, recipient. Reusing creates a new order with the same recipients and amount, which you can adjust before sending.
