Once you have added funds, ask your AI assistant to send gift cards directly — branded cards, choice cards, reward links, or repeatable campaigns.
Add your recipients first
To send gift cards through Giftronaut, you need the email address of your recipient(s). Name, company, and department are optional, but they help personalize the message.
You can also hand your assistant a spreadsheet or CSV to add many recipients at once. It will show you a preview first, so you can catch mistakes before anything is added.
Not sure if someone's already on your list? Ask your assistant to look them up by email first.
Example prompts
- Add jane@example.com as a recipient.
- I have a CSV of new employee names and emails — can you preview the import before adding them?
Send a Choice Card or a Branded Card
Giftronaut supports two ways to gift a specific amount. A branded card sends a card for one brand you choose, like Amazon or Starbucks. A choice card lets the recipient pick their own reward.
Both work the same way. You specify who's receiving it, how much, and what the email should say: sender name, subject, and message. Send it immediately, or schedule it for a specific date, time, and timezone.
Before anything is charged or sent, your assistant shows you a full preview: every recipient, the amount, and the total cost. You confirm before anything goes out.
Example prompts
- Draft a $50 Amazon gift card to john@example.com with the message "Welcome to the team, John!" and show me the details before sending.
- Schedule a $75 Choice Card for everyone in the "New Hires" group to send next Friday at 10 AM.
Tip: Not sure which card type fits? Branded cards send a specific brand. Choice cards let the recipient pick their own gift.
Generate reward links
Reward links work differently from a direct send. Instead of emailing specific people, you generate a batch of unique claim links — up to 500 at a time. Distribute them however you like: in Slack, at an event, or in a newsletter.
You choose the card type, product, how many links to generate, and the value of each one. Links are generated in the background, so they aren't available the instant the order is created. Give it a moment, then ask your assistant to pull up the order again to get the URLs.
Example prompt
- Generate 50 reward links for a $25 choice card.
Set up a repeatable campaign
If you send the same kind of gift regularly, like a monthly bonus or a quarterly recognition award, a campaign saves you from re-entering the same details each time. Define the product, amount, sender name, subject, and message once. Then fire it off to a new group of people whenever it's due.
Campaigns currently support Choice Cards only, not Branded Cards. Creating a campaign doesn't cost anything or send anything — it's just a saved template until you execute it against a list of recipients or a saved group.
Example prompts
- Create a new campaign called "Monthly Performance Bonus": $75 choice card, sender name "Giftronaut", subject "Your monthly bonus is here!"
- Prepare the "Q2 Recognition" campaign for the "Top Performers" group and show me a summary before sending.
Important: Nothing is sent without your OK. Your assistant always shows who's getting what and the total cost. It waits for your confirmation before anything is charged or emailed.
FAQs
What's the difference between a campaign and a one-time send?
A one-time send happens immediately. A campaign is a saved template you reuse later.
Can I send a branded card as a campaign?
Not currently — campaigns support choice cards only. For repeat branded-card sends, ask your assistant to reuse a past order instead.
What's the difference between resending and reusing an order?
Resending re-delivers the same order to the same, or corrected, recipient. Reusing creates a new order with the same recipients and amount, which you can adjust before sending.
