While Giftronaut typically delivers gift cards by email (with your template and message), you can also generate distributable reward links to send through your own channels (SMS, your email domain, CRM, chat, etc.). This method does not require recipient details at order time.
Before you begin
Your account must be pre-funded.
The Download Reward Links feature must be enabled on your account (see Step 1).
Some countries require enablement for branded gift cards. If a country is missing, please reach out to us in the chatbox (9:30 AM to 8 PM ET) or contact support@giftronaut.com.
Step 1: Enable the feature
Contact your Giftronaut account rep or reach out to support@giftronaut.com to activate the Reward Link Download feature for your account.
Step 2: Gift card design & amount
- In your dashboard, select Place an Order → Download Reward Link

Choose between a Giftronaut Choice Card or a Branded Gift Card.

Giftronaut Choice Card: The recipient chooses their preferred brand in their local currency at redemption.
- You can choose from the designs we have available, design with AI, or upload your own custom image.
- You can customize which gift card brands appear on your recipient's shopping page directly in the portal. Use the category bar to filter by brand category, or click Advanced Catalog Filters to select specific countries and brands. Settings are saved per order — your recipient will only see brands from your configured catalog.

Branded Gift Card: You select a specific brand and currency in advance. Choose the country from the dropdown.
- If your desired country is not shown, use the in-app chat (bottom-left) or email support@giftronaut.com to request enablement.

Step 3: Enter the reward amount and desired quantity
Enter the reward amount.
Enter the quantity (the number of links you need).
Optional: Giftronaut Refund Option
This option allows to to reclaim 70% of unredeemed gift card values for future use. This shortens the expiration window from 180 days to 30 days, giving you more flexibility and optimizing your rewards budget.
Step 4: Confirm and place your order
- Review card type, amount, quantity, and options.
- Once everything looks good, click Place Order.
- Important: Orders cannot be canceled once submitted.
Step 5: Download and access the file
- Once your order is complete:
- Go to Order Management and open the corresponding order.
- Click File Download to generate and download a ZIP file.
- You will receive an email confirming the file is ready. A passcode to unlock the ZIP will be emailed to you shortly after.

What you receive
- A ZIP containing a CSV file with one unique URL per reward.
- Use these links in any channel you choose.
- This process ensures secure, easy distribution of reward links to your recipients, with full control over how and when the rewards are delivered.
Step 6: Distribute links
- Send each unique link through your preferred channel (SMS, email, CRM, chat, ticketing, kiosk, etc.).
- Each link corresponds to one reward.
- Treat links as sensitive tokens; do not post publicly.
Security and best practices
- Store links securely; share only with intended recipients.
- If a link is widely shared, the first person to redeem will consume the reward.
- Maintain an internal mapping of recipient ↔ link if you need person-level audit trails
Expiration and the Refund Option
- Default redemption window: 180 days.
- If Giftronaut Refund Option is enabled for the order: 30 days, and 70% of the unredeemed value is automatically reclaimed to your balance after the window closes.
- Once a Choice Card is converted to a specific brand, the brand’s terms apply.
