When setting up a Giftronaut Choice Card order, you can control exactly which gift card brands your recipient sees on their shopping page. This is useful when you want to focus on a specific region, limit recipients to brands available in their country, or curate a catalog that reflects your company's gifting policy.
Where to find catalog settings
Catalog customization is available in Step 1 of the order setup flow, in the Giftronaut Choice Card panel.
- Use the category bar to filter brands by category (e.g., Food & Restaurant, Travel & Outdoors, Entertainment).
- Click Advanced Catalog Filters to open the full filtering modal.
Using Advanced Catalog Filters
The Advanced Catalog Filters modal has three filter levels:
1. Country
Select one or more countries to limit the catalog to brands available in those regions. If no country is selected, the full global catalog is shown.
2. Category
Filter by category type to narrow the catalog to specific types of brands (e.g., only retail, only dining).
3. Brand
Search for and select individual brands to include or exclude from the catalog. Use this when you want to offer a highly curated selection.
How filters interact
- Filters are applied together — a brand must match all active filter criteria to appear on the recipient's shopping page.
- If your country filter returns no matching brands for a selected category, that category will not appear on the recipient's page.
- Removing all filters restores the full global default catalog.
Shopping page behavior
- Your catalog settings apply only to the specific order you are configuring — they do not change the default catalog for other orders.
- Recipients will only see brands that match your configured filters. Brands outside your selection will not appear, even if they are available in the recipient's region.
Tips
- Sending to a single country? Set the country filter to that country to automatically show only locally relevant brands.
- Running a corporate gifting program with brand guidelines? Use specific brand selection to limit choices to approved vendors.
- Not sure what to set? Leave Advanced Catalog Filters unset — recipients will see the full catalog tailored to their selected region.
