With Giftronaut's Campaign feature, you can streamline your gifting process by setting up your email template, card design, and reward amounts in advance. Integrate with various apps for seamless, automated orders!
Getting Started
Click Campaign Management on the left to view, create, and manage your campaigns.
Creating a campaign
- Click 'Add Campaign' or '+create' to select the Choice Card design for your campaign.
When selecting your Choice Card design, you can also customize which gift card brands appear on your recipient’s shopping page. Use the category bar to filter by brand category, or click Advanced Catalog Filters to select specific countries and brands. Settings are saved per order — your recipient will only see brands from your configured catalog.
- Populate the required fields for your campaign.

| Name | Enter a name for your campaign. The name must be at least 1 character and up to 30 characters, including spaces. Duplicate campaign names are not allowed. | Required |
| Subject Line | Enter the subject line for the email (maximum 100 characters). Spam filters closely inspect subject lines, so use a descriptive subject line and avoid using words like 'free', 'offer', and '$'. | Required |
| Sender Name | The sender name (maximum 30 characters) will appear in the template of the reward email. | Required |
| Email Display Name | The email display name (maximum 50 characters) is what your recipients will see in their email inbox. The default display name is 'Team Giftronaut.' | Optional |
| Message | Enter a custom message for the email body (up to 255 characters). You can personalize it using dynamic data for the recipient’s first and last name with {{First Name}} and {{Last Name}}. | Optional |

Choose an existing email template or create a new one. In the email template, you can set the sender name, add your company logo, and customize the colors. Note that the sender name and subject line set for the campaign will override those in the template. |

| Attach a File | Attach a file to send along with the email. Only PDF, JPEG, JPG, and PNG formats are allowed. The file must be no larger than 5MB. | Optional |
| Refund Option | By selecting the Refund Option, you will reclaim 70% of unredeemed funds. The Refund Option will shorten the expiration period from 180 days to 30 days. | Optional |
- Once you've finished, click Save. You will be able to see the list of campaigns you created in Campaign Management.
Editing a Campaign
- In Campaign Management, click the name of the campaign you wish to edit.
- Keep or change the Choice Card image/design and continue.
- Update any fields (subject, sender, message, template, attachment, Refund Option).
- Click Save.
Campaign Orders
- In Campaign Management, click Order on the desired campaign.
- Choose how to add recipients:
- Manual entry (best for small lists)
- Upload spreadsheet
- Select a group
- Choose Send Now or Schedule for a later date/time.
- Review the Payment screen (card type, amount(s), recipients, timing, Refund Option), then click Send.
- Track status in Order Management → Order History.
- Click the Order Type & Order Number to open Order Detail.
- Download recipient data via Download.

Other Campaign Features
- Preview your campaign before sending.

Send test emails to confirm layout and content.
- Test emails include a sample gift card (non-redeemable) and do not include file attachments.
- Delete campaigns that are no longer needed (deletion does not affect past orders).
- To automate orders from external apps, your campaign can be used as a preconfigured send.
