Sending to recipients in different countries, or recipients who may not prefer Starbucks? Send a Giftronaut Choice Card instead — each recipient can choose an available brand from their local catalog.
What denominations and limits apply?
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Available card amounts | The denominations available for the selected country are shown in the Giftronaut dashboard. |
| US Starbucks Card limits | The minimum load is typically $5, and a card cannot hold more than $500 at one time. |
| US daily card limit | No more than $2,000 may be associated with one Starbucks Card in a single day. |
| Giftronaut minimum order | None — you can send one card or thousands. |
| Giftronaut platform fee | None. |
The $5 minimum, $500 maximum balance, and $2,000 daily limit come from Starbucks' US Card Terms and may change. Check the amounts displayed in your Giftronaut dashboard before placing an order.
Do Starbucks gift cards expire or have fees?
Under Starbucks' US Card Terms, Starbucks Cards and their balances do not expire. Starbucks also does not charge activation, service, dormancy, or inactivity fees.
Terms may vary by country, so recipients should review the conditions included with their gift card.
How do recipients redeem a Starbucks eGift Card?
The recipient receives the Starbucks eGift Card by email. Depending on the country and card type, they can:
- Add the eGift Card to their Starbucks account, in the app or at starbucks.com/account/cards/add
- Transfer its balance to an existing Starbucks Card
- Print the eGift Card and use it at a participating Starbucks store
The recipient should follow the redemption instructions included in the delivery email. Available redemption methods and participating locations may vary by country. Starbucks' own terms also note: "Certain Starbucks-branded locations may not permit you to use the Starbucks Card for payment, including some airport, grocery and bookstore locations, or stores in Guam."
Can I send Starbucks gift cards internationally?
Starbucks gift card availability depends on the recipient's country. Select the recipient country before choosing Starbucks to see whether it is currently available.
If Starbucks does not appear for that country, contact Giftronaut through the in-app chat or email support@giftronaut.com to ask about availability.
For recipients in different countries — or recipients who may not prefer Starbucks — send a Giftronaut Choice Card instead. Each recipient can choose an available brand from their local catalog.
How quickly are Starbucks gift cards delivered?
Orders set to Send now are processed for digital email delivery immediately after confirmation. Scheduled orders are processed at the date and time selected by the sender.
You can monitor delivery and identify bounced emails under Order Management → Order History.
