Giftronaut can send web push notifications to help you stay updated on important account activity, including funding confirmations, low balance alerts, and scheduled order reminders.
Push notifications are sent in addition to email notifications, so you can stay informed even when you are not checking your inbox.
Enabling push notifications
When you log in to the Giftronaut portal, you may see a prompt asking you to allow notifications.
To enable push notifications, two permissions are required:
- In the Giftronaut portal, click Allow when the notification prompt appears.
- Your browser will then ask for permission. Click Allow to activate notifications on that browser.
Once both steps are complete, push notifications will be active for your account. You can also enable or update notification permissions at any time through your browser settings.
Types of Push Notifications
Depending on your account activity and settings, you may receive push notifications for events such as:
- Funding confirmation — when an ACH/wire or credit card deposit is confirmed and available in your balance
- Smart Order low balance — when your balance may be insufficient for an upcoming scheduled Smart Order
- Campaign low balance — when your balance may be insufficient for an upcoming campaign send
- Scheduled send reminders — reminders before a scheduled order is sent
- Weekly delivery report — a recurring summary of recent order activity
- Weekly feedback alert — a reminder to review pending recipient feedback
Notes
- Push notifications are tied to the browser where you granted permission. To receive notifications on multiple devices, enable them separately on each.
- Notifications are supported on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
- You'll continue to receive email notifications regardless of your push notification settings.
